A fantastic example of how to shoot under adversity!
This project gave us no free passes. It rained all day and offered very few opportunities to get easy footage. Flying a Drone in the rain is no easy feat & there were plenty of reasons to call it off and only one good reason to work out a solution! Props to Redd, our esteemed DP (Director of Photography) for coming up with the goods on the day.
This special event was clearly filmed with a theme in mind, as the couple who tied the knot wanted to commemorate the occasion with a party atmosphere. Its a great way of showing how a traditional wedding video can take on a completely different look & feel, without losing it’s underlying character, or missing out on the important bits (aka “I do”).
Congratulations to Vic & Tui, we hope the day is remembered a little more clearly than some might recall after what looked like a great celebration of a fantastic wedding day.
